Desktop Support Analyst (HYBRID)The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Workstation & Printer Support Specialist candidate with experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment. The successful applicant will have a background in the management of Microsoft Windows 10 devices, iOS devices, Apple OSX devices, and managing (MFP) printer fleets.Incumbent is responsible for daily workstation operations at the Delivery Center Server Farm location. Incumbent will provide maintenance and support of endpoints both on-site and remote. Responsible for the implementation, management, support and maintenance of various system software products and hardware components that comprise enterprise endpoint computing.Incumbent will provide system engineers with technical support for break/fix issues as needed. Monitor Remedy Incident queue for reported issues, both on-site and remote. Perform physical endpoint support tasks including, but not limited to Windows imaging via SCCM OSD process, asset management, sending and receiving of equipment, serve as point-of-contact for Lexmark printer fleet, and participate in projects as determined by the Delivery Center Endpoint Manager.The candidate will be responsible for maintaining device compliance and health; this includes tracking down PC’s that have broken SCCM clients, are out of compliance with updates, or are reported to have application or operating system issues.Essential Responsibilities• Monitor Remedy incident queues for issues, take ownership and assist customers as needed• Keep all support tickets up to date and well documented• Update technical support documentation as needed and create new documentation on issue resolution for other teams• Actively works with other Endpoint technical teams including SCCM, SCOM, and Active Directory• Engages with vendors as directed by the Endpoint Manager to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues• Other duties as assigned by the Endpoint Manager• Obtain requirements and work closely with technical teams and management to deliver robust and secure solutions for technical issues• Have knowledge with a variety of software tools, including those related to support and implementation of endpoints• Provide consultation and knowledge transfer with respect to software tools, hardware components, and peripherals• Have a strong track record of understanding and shows interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience, certifications, education and/or industry activities• Be a strong team player – collaborate well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources• Demonstrate a customer focus – building and maintaining strong customer relationships• Have strong analytical problem-solving skills – can communicate in a clear concise manner and effectively relays information to management; anticipates obstacles and develops solutions for resolution• Be change oriented – actively generates process improvements, supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways

Required Skills and ExperienceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• Prior experience supporting Windows 10 and MacOSX devices in organizations with 500+ users• Three (3)+ years of relevant experience supporting endpoints as listed in Complete Description above• Basic workstation management knowledge of SCCM• Experience with Microsoft PowerShell, batch, and VB script languages• Technical writing and documentation library management• Basic Knowledge of IT Project Management techniques and processes• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and reliable transportationHIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Microsoft Windows 10 and Apple OSX administration experience• CompTIA A+; or equivalent combination of education and experience
