Are you living your life's work?Position Description :The Medical Assistant (MA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus, supports the delivery of high quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets. The MA provides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communication.Minimum Requirements :Degree Requirements and Minimum Experience Required:High school degree or GED required.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.1-2 years of related experience preferred.Minimum Certifications, Registry and/or Licenses Required:MA Certification preferred (but may be required within 90 days of hire in certain geographic or complex specialty areas).CPR Certification required.Skill Requirements:Computer knowledge and skills required.Ability to speak English for a business setting.Customer-focused communication skills (verbal/written) required.Organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail required.EMR skills preferred.Additional Information :We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
