Position: Data Modeler / Data Architect Location: Horsham, PA 19044 (Remote till Covid) Type: C2C Client: CTS/UHC Looking for 10+ Years of experience Roles/Responsibilities: 1. Analysis of Implemented Data Models Reverse engineer databases or obtain data model definitions for company or vendor systems. Organize data model presentations to be meaningful for analysis. Analyze data model content and add metadata definitions as needed. Summarize data models from a business rule and model feature perspective Compare various models for the same subject area and map similar objects, documenting the mappings as metadata. Assure completeness of definition by interviews and work with steward and custodial groups. Export all models to Model Manager for inclusion in a metadata repository. 2.Data Model Design and Definition Enterprise Data Model Design and support Consider known requirements and future flexibility to abstract data requirements and devise flexible and robust data models. Devise appropriate designs for operational, warehouse, and analytic needs, and for enterprise versus parochial application Complete logical data models design and definitions in Erwin Physical Data Models design for analytics purposes based on Business Models or reporting needs Assurance conformance of models to enterprise standards for data definition, data naming, data standardization and data model practices Conduct/ participate in peer reviews of data models to assure conformance to standards and practices and to assure a good solution fit to requirements and business goals 3.Data Model Management Configure and administer the CA Model Manager and ERwin modeling tool suite for enterprise use. Document best practices for model management and re-use Manage templates and enterprise versus local models-
