DescriptionJoin National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this Lab Administrator opportunity located at NDX Albensi Dental Laboratory in Irwin, PA.The regular hours for this position are from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Assist the General Manager with management of the lab, including preparation of reports related to sales, labor, productivity, material usage and budget performance.
Collaborate with NDX Finance and Accounting functional departments to identify areas of opportunity and enhance interdependent relationships.
Manage all internal control aspects of the laboratory and assist senior management in maintaining a strong pursuit of Operations Excellence.
Oversee and manage budget activities; follow budget and compare to monthly laboratory income statement, research discrepancies. Review preliminary financial statements and discuss with Senior Management.
Consult with General Manager to devise action plans to achieve desired financial results.
Follow-up with accounts past due to insure timely collection of monies due and that commitments are adhered to as well as manage the timely posting of cash to accounts and the reconciliation process.
On-site IT contact and liaison for lab and IT Department
Negotiate and approve agreements with internal and external stakeholders
Quality Management Representative for all FDA responsibilities.
Responsible for OSHA compliance within Dental Lab and managing safety committee on a monthly basis.
All other duties as assigned.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, as well as the ability to apply concepts of general business math.
Intermediate skill sets in Microsoft Office products
Accuracy and attention to detail is imperative
Must maintain organization to successfully and timely complete the variety of tasks associated with this position.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or other related field, preferred,
Minimum 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong leadership skills
3-5 years direct experience in general accounting (preferred)
1-2 years’ experience in cost accounting (preferred)
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Office Equipment (Computer, Copier, Paper Cutter, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach
Ability to read and comprehend written communications
Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail
Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to effectively communicate information.
