The candidate will augment this experience in implementing strategic APIs to promote our Open Banking initiatives. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with Financial Services or FinTech providers, and be able to rapidly assess varying architectures and API strategies.In this role, you can look forward to:- Working closely with development teams to assist in API implementations- Guiding and directing mapping efforts to existing APIs- Influencing new API development for client’s Open Banking initiatives- Enabling adoption of new interfaces with impact to millions of consumers- Working across client teams to identify and describe standards- Working closely with other BA and Architecture professionals with diverse backgroundsBasic Qualifications for Consideration:- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED- Minimum of two years experience as an analystPreferred Qualifications for Consideration:- Implementation experience with REST or SOAP-based APIs- Exposure to financial industry standards such as IFX, OFX- Experience with API development and tools such as SwaggerHub or Stoplight- Experience in streaming technologies, such as Kafka- Use of Jira, Confluence or Azure Dev Ops for collaboration- Able to communicate complex, technical concepts to non-technical associates and clients- Ability to establish relationships within all levels of the Company- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills using Microsoft tools, including Visio VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
