What does a great JAVA/J2EE Software Development Engineer do?
The Software Engineer (Java) is central to the business mission of the Applications Development team. Successful candidates will architect, develop, and test software components. Eligible candidates will be willing to keep pace with a group of talented Software Engineers while maintaining best practices and consistent conventions. They should be self-starters and able to collaborate effectively with their team lead and peers. Responsibilities:- Implement new products and product features
- Take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently
- Perform research to determine the best technology/pattern to solve problems
- Participate in and contribute to requirements gathering, design discussions, and code reviews Basic
- Must live in or near King of Prussia, PA
- Spring Framework with experience or knowledge in JAVA/J2EE
- RESTful Services or SOAP
- Relational Databases (Oracle preferred)
- 4 year engineering degree (Computer Science degree preferred)
- 1-2 years experience is prefd.
- Spring MVC
- Spring Boot
- Spring Data
- NoSQL Databases (Couchbase preferred)
- JavaScript (especially AngularJS or React)
- Docker
- Understanding of FINTECH/PAYMENT PROCESSING
