Production Supervisor - Maintenance

We are searching for a dynamic individual to join our team in the position of Production Supervisor.

As equipment and machines are becoming more and more complex, we are looking for a supervisor who can keep up with the complexity of manufacturing operations at our plant in PA.When you’re part of the team at Harsco Environmental, you will do important work like supervising employee and subcontractor workforce in operation, repair, and maintenance activities for equipment used in production or for rental on plant site locations

• Ensure that there is proper planning of work schedules to meet the needs of the business.
• Conducting daily safety talks and ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations
• Managing employee training and operations of equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, graders, etc.
• Assigns maintenance workers tasks on a daily shift basis from the weekly maintenance plan and from the “Equipment Defect Reports” as they occur
• Assists the Maintenance Planner in critical path planning of major repairs requiring longer-term shutdown of equipment with assistance from the Production Supervisor.
• Performs root cause analysis, as needed and as assists in developing maintenance financial budgets
• Interface with equipment vendors and parts suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Master Mechanic Certification is highly preferred.

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of experience managing heavy equipment operations and maintenance in a plant/factory-type environment.
