Express Laundry of Marietta is seeking someone 1-2 afternoons per week. Must be available Friday, and with option for another afternoon (TBD). Shift is 1 or 1:30pm to 5:30pm. No weekends. Application info is posted at the bottom, please follow directions.
Express Laundry is a full-service laundry, providing the following services to our customers:
1) wash-and-fold for regular laundry
2) dry-cleaning and alterations
3) laundry service for businesses-weekly accounts
5) coin-op laundry
A. Tasks:
1)Take in dry cleaning, tag items
2) Handle alterations requests and inquiries
3) Wash napkins; stack and count
4) Process laundry for our wash-and-fold customers: wash and dry; fold, bag, invoice. (Mostly sheets and towels for businesses.)
5) Assist laundromat customers with questions.
6) Help maintain a clean coin-op laundry; general cleaning
B. Qualifications:
1) Have basic math skills: addition, subtraction, %, sales tax calculations
2) Speak and read English
3) Be able to lift 20-30 pounds
4) Be able to count accurately
5) Follow directions for various procedures of laundering/folding variety of items
6) Work independently; prioritize time according to work orders/due dates
7) Show up on time for work
8) Be available even when school is not in session
9) Be able to work on your feet for the entire shift
10) Good customer-service skills; communicate well with customers
11) Be polite, honest, cheerful, team player.
