Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. The Scientist will provide testing and technical support in the Analytical QC Laboratory.ResponsibilitiesThese functions may include:Performs all analytical laboratory duties by planning, coordinating and/or conducting testing;Processing and testing samples of raw materials, packaging components, bulk and finished products, stability samples, process validation, and cleaning validations.Prepares diluents, solutions, reagents, etc. in accordance with approved written procedures.Reviews and/or authors SOP’s, laboratory investigations, Change Controls, Protocols, and Final Reports.Trouble shooting for analytical issues and investigations:Compiles and analyzes data, identifies causes, draws conclusions, generates reports.Uses expertise to identify and implement improvements to Laboratory operational efficiencies.Acts as Team Leader, mentoring and training junior chemists.Complies with cGMP’s and safety regulations.Maintains an environment of respect and teamwork with all coworkers.QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science required. Focused degree in Chemistry, Biology or Technical related field is preferred.5 year of experience working in a highly regulated industry is requiredExperience working with instrumentation in an Analytical QC laboratory setting is required.
