Job Description

Position Summary:

Facilitates and advises on employee relations matters on behalf of the company and manages compliance with all applicable employment regulations.

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Partner and advise business leaders in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing employee grievances, progressive discipline, adverse employment actions including reductions in workforce, investigate and defend legal complaints
  • Conduct interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; informs appropriate partners; .
  • Research and maintain knowledge and understanding of federal and state-specific regulations and develop programs to ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations
  • Perform employment classification compliance audits
  • Develop and facilitate training through online resources and in person.
  • Support mergers and acquisition tasks to transition newly acquired companies
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), computer hardware and computer servers
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, demonstrated proficiency in data entry, clear, pleasant speaking voice, good communication skills, pride in appearance and conduct
  • Meticulous work habits, cooperative and pleasant with coworkers; willingness to work overtime, work independently
  • Follow and give detailed verbal and written instructions; clear understanding of workload distribution and priorities.

Basic Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience employee relations and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project skills including analysis, planning and organizing and implementing of new programs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
