We are seeking a

Senior Mechanical Engineer

who enjoys working on a variety of projects that requires a passion for invention and execution for manufacturing. In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect the short-term and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with experience-oriented design thinking

Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated, hands-on attitude and experience, driven to improve interactions in everything you touch

Curious by nature, driven to develop and / or improve products based on real insights

Lead collaborative, data-driven concept selection process by leveraging strong communication skills and work experience

Ability to quickly prototype designs to evaluate critical characteristics including performance and functionality

Conduct design reviews with key suppliers, manufacturing, OEM partners, and service support using feedback to create the best possible production design

Support production launch process, ensuring quality of finished product and all new parts

Required Qualifications :

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree

5+ years of experience with key duties and responsibilities as described above

Proficiency in 3D solid modelling with motion of mechanisms (Solidworks preferred)

Experience with design of sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, painting, and assembly with extreme attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to work well with others as part of a cross-functional team

Desired Qualifications :

Experience with landscaping or agricultural equipment

Knowledge of PV&V and / or experience product test development and execution

Knowledge in the following area would be a plus : plastic molding, welding, fastening, and sensors

Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
