Tabor Community Services (equal opportunity employer) is seeking a direct-service case worker for TLC, which is a program of Tabor and home to Veterans' Victory House.

Tabor is a non-profit community benefit organization providing services that foster housing and financial stability in Lancaster County, PA. Tabor assists over 5,000 clients annually, has 50+ staff and an annual operating budget of $4.5 million. Tabor has served Lancaster County residents more than 50 years. Tabor's mission: To help strengthen the Lancaster County community by giving people the tools and inspiration to meet their housing and financial challenges and by revitalizing our surroundings.

TLC is a 5 story, 52 unit, residential facility in the City of Lancaster providing temporary housing with supportive services for individuals, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness. TLC's programs assist people experiencing homelessness to reach their goal of safe, sustainable permanent housing.

Key Qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field strongly preferred; Associates degree in social work or related field plus relevant experience may be considered

- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

- Prior military experience preferred - qualified veterans encouraged to apply

- Adherence to the Housing First philosophy of ending homelessness

- An approach to service that is trauma-informed, recovery focused, and empowers people to resolve their own challenges to the fullest extent possible

- Ability to establish a respectful relationship with persons served to help them gain skills and confidence

- Demonstrated sensitivity to persons of varied economic and cultural backgrounds

- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and interface well with the staff team and other professionals who serve TLC participants
