Stoltzfus Forest Products is looking for an Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team. For over 30 years we have partnered with local landowners to manage their timber lots in a sustainable way that protects their resources and the land for years to come. Our vision is to be an industry leader by building trust and confidence with customers and employees through continuous improvement.

Even with this unique year, we have continued to see a demand for our services. The Office Manager position is a new one for our company and we realize that filling this role is critical to our continued growth.

About our Office Manager / Bookkeeper position

Get involved in a variety of areas of the business

Ensure the office is organized and running smoothly

Coordinate AP/AR using QuickBooks Online

Greet walk in customers & drivers

Provide HR support in areas such as new hire paperwork, tracking PTO requests & submitting timecards to payroll

Answer the phone and direct calls

Travel to the bank and post office (mileage reimbursement provided)

Sort & direct mail, faxes & emails

Assist with tracking lumber inventory

Help improve existing & develop new processes for our office

Our Ideal Heavy Equipment Operator

Experienced: 5+ years office experience. 2+ years experience using Quickbooks. Skilled typist. Familiar with MS Excel.

Friendly: You will be interacting with customers & delivery drivers – often being the first person they speak with from Stoltzfus Forest Products. The ability to warmly greet individuals is critical to creating a positive impression of our company. Must enjoy helping and serving others.

Organized: We are looking for someone who can work with and improve our existing processes as well as help us build new ones to improve our efficiency.

Flexible: In this role, you will wear many hats. From bookkeeper to HR to Receptionist to administrative support – your willingness to adapt to the demands of the day are important.

Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to contribute to a team. Builds positive relationships with others. Takes ownership of work.

Excellent Communicator: You will be drafting emails and letters, as well as talking to customers over the phone. Excellent writing skills & verbal communication skills are needed.

Reliable: You need to have a reasonably clean driving record as well as pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Competitive Pay Dependent on Experience: $20-$25 p/h
