This is the perfect position for someone who wants a self-directed job, loves running a household, can take control of a sometimes chaotic situation, and enjoys helping a creative type like me!

Most of this job is simple, involving routine tasks and work. You should enjoy creating and maintaining household routines. Once trained, you’ll receive very little micro-managing from your boss (me). You will need to manage your time so everything gets done.

This is a great work situation – but I ONLY want to work with you if you are:

Meticulous with details

Organized

Consistently on-time

Polite

Good at anticipating (ie. you think & plan ahead)

Honest

In addition:

You must have a drivers license and a reliable car so you can consistently perform job duties and should live relatively close to us (our zip code is 19344).

I am a female business owner with an online business. Because my home is also my workplace, it must be quiet while you’re going about your duties. I’ll be running my business while you’re supporting my household. If you’re introverted and quiet, you’ll love this job. If you get lonely easily, love to chat, or need lots of social interaction at work, you’ll hate this job, so please don’t apply.

You must know how to use Amazon Alexa and simple technology (text, email, list app)

We have a female golden retriever, so to enjoy this job, you should love dogs.

As a family, we are cautious and thoughtful in regards to Covid-19. We wear masks, socially distance, and practice good hand washing and hygiene.

I am married. My husband works outside our home and interacts with the general public on a daily basis. He is careful, but we are not 100% without risk.

I do not wear a mask at home, but I always wear a mask when I leave the house. I will expect equal thoughtfulness from you.

While I’m happy to be flexible in creating your weekly schedule, and also happy to accommodate time off requests in advance. Last minute changes, outside of true emergencies, will not be tolerated.

However, if you suspect you may have been exposed to, or that you have contracted Covid-19, I would expect you to notify me immediately and quarantine for an appropriate amount of time before returning to work in our home.

This position is for 15-20 hours a week.

Here are some of the basic tasks involved in this job:

Washing and Folding Laundry

Routine house cleaning and tidying up

Walking dog (this includes dog poo pick up and disposal.)

Caring for garden & plants

Managing/scheduling contractors or repair people

Grocery shopping

Vacuuming

Meal planning and light food preparation

Seasonal Cleaning Projects

General errands

The hourly rate is $11/hour.
