Piper Companies is currently seeking an

Automation Specialist based in

Lancaster, Pennsylvania to work at an industry leading automation company supporting pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The

Automation Specialist will be part of a newly formed team and work extensively on producing and reviewing design drawings and specifications, performing necessary documentation, and overseeing troubleshooting.

Responsibilities of the Automation Specialist:

• Responsible for providing automation operational support functions

• Lead plant operations to assess and resolve non-conforming events, determine impact

• Develop and deliver reports from reporting software

• Provide technical support for all elements of computer-aided manufacturing

Qualifications of the Automation Specialist:

• 3-5 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing automation or validation and Bachelor's in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge of ISA standards/practices for instrumentation

• Familiarity with SQL, VBA, and/or XML, related IT language

• Technical writing skills with reference to CSV

Compensation for the Automation Specialist:

• $55-$58/hr (W-2)
