Franklin & Marshall College is seeking a Web Writer who is a talented communicator who focuses on creating highly effective content for primarily digital platforms, including F&M's website, social media and email outreach. As part of the College Communications team, this position plays a key role in seeking out great examples of the College's impact, conveying those stories, messages, and visuals with a fresh voice, and building outcome-oriented engagement with our audiences.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Write compelling web stories, social media posts, and targeted email campaigns that engage audiences, including alumni, parents, and prospective students, inspiring interest and action across platforms.

Continually learn about platforms and technology so as to use these tools to their best advantage.

Execute creative and effective brand engagement and solicitation campaigns with enthusiasm, accuracy, and versatility.

Support the college photographer and videographers in efforts to capture strong visuals for use in digital media.

Collaborate with the Communications team, and particularly with the digital strategy team, to implement F&M's marketing and communications strategy and enhance the College's reputation.

Bachelor's degree required
