My client is in need of a Senior Frontend Developer to join their team. They're an agricultural green tech startup that is creating drones to help farmers and consumers take care of their crops more effectively. Their main drone provides an overhead crop spraying solution, which helps operators stay securely on the ground, and limits their exposure to toxic chemicals. As a Senior Frontend Developer on the team, you will be spending 30% of your time architecting and 70% coding & implementing your architecture in React/JavaScript. The UI will be used by the operators to control the drones. If you have graphical and mapping experience that is a plus. The Ideal candidate is a self starter, local to the Massachusetts/Greater Boston area, and has great communication skills.
Required Skills and Experience:- Minimum of 4+ years of professional web development and front-end work
- Strong command of basic web technologies (CSS, JavaScript, HTML, etc.)
- Familiarity with one or more common web frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Familiarity with one or more common testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, etc.)
- Experience with large data structures, live-updating systems and associated data display
- Prior track record of building front-end interfaces from scratch
- Positive attitude, strong aptitude, and a willingness to learn
