Auto req ID: 222732BRSC Eng Principal EngineerJob DescriptionLead, manage and direct the waste and recycling programs for North American Beverage plants and warehouses. Technical expert on waste and recycling management practices and equipment, transportation and offsite management options for North American beverages. Provide technical advice and support on best management practices for waste/recycling at the locations, transportation options and disposal/recycling options once the materials have left the location. Manage the relationship between the plants and warehouses and the service providers. Assist plants with resolving service and billing issues with the service providers. Assist Procurement with technical aspects of the national contracts for waste and recycling. Manage, collect, track and analyze waste and recycling data for the beverages business in a manner that creates auditable records for external reporting of results. Develop reports and presentations on waste and recycling performance for Senior Leadership. Manage, collect, track and analyze greenhouse gas emissions reporting for Gatorade and Tropicana warehouses. Responsible for reporting waste/recycling and GHG data to Corporate and maintaining all necessary documentation for auditable records of waste, recycling and GHG reporting. Lead third party audit responses for waste, recycling and GHG. Knowledge / Skill Requirements- Functional understanding plant operations and how these operations influence and effect waste and recycling generation and management.- Project management skills with the ability to determine the feasibility of projects and lead them to successful outcomes while managing multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate with leadership team and plant directors, plant and warehouse personnel, service providers, Procurement, external auditors, Finance teams and consultants.- Strong team building skills to manage and influence cross-functional internal and external teams.- Self-motivated, results and action oriented. Able to make independent and sound decisions to influence plants and warehouses to develop successful programs and keep them on track. Ability to persuade and influence plants and warehouses as they develop, implement and improve their programs.- Computer skills to including spreadsheet and word processing software and other data tracking software systems such as MYEHS, Xcel and Tableau. andmiddot; Management of service providers with service oversight, data analyze and resolution of data discrepancies, invoicing and payment discrepancy resolution.- Ability to review and analyze data to find errors, source of errors, and develop plans and programs to mitigate errors. Qualifications/Requirements- Degree Preferred: Bachelor Majors- Preferred: Engineering, Science, Environmental Studies, Statistics Minimum Requirements:- Minimum of 10 years experience, with expertise in data management and analysis, audit documentation, and leading waste and recycling programs.- Experience managing external service providers, assuring contract compliance, and resolving complex service and billing issues.- Expertise in plant operations that generate waste and recyclable materials and strategies to improve waste and recycling management.- Experience developing training programs, best management practices and state of the art processes to maximize recycling and recycling revenue and minimize waste and expenses.- Ability to identify root cause of program shortfalls and quickly implement mitigation strategies to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.- Ability to train, lead and influence decision makers and plant personnel to make sound decisions and implement effective programs.- Ability to manage large amounts of data and develop concise and accurate presentations of environmental data to leadership teams and senior management- Able to travel; individual can expect to be out of
