Team Lead will be the subject matter expert, getting involved with problem solving issues that arise with processes and workflows
Observe and determine progress toward completing daily parts picking requirements, move team members as needed
Coordinate daily inbound and shipping assignments for team members
Communicate effectively with other operational departments and other shifts
Verify that quality assurance checks are completed and maintained
Maintain accurate logs and transactions of all transportation and goods
Coordinate internal warehouse transfer shipments and inbound receipts
Coordinate internally managed orders
Maintain standard operating procedures to reflect current processes
Manage and maintain all record keeping requirements in accordance with Thermo Fisher policy
Work closely with our receiving and shipping warehouse personnel to ensure they have all documentation required
Work closely with production teams to be as efficient as possible
Participate in PPI to continually improve processes
May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned
How will you get here?Minimum: Requirements/Qualifications:High school diploma/GED is required
1 year of service in current role or equivalent experience from an external company
Demonstrated knowledge of internal inventory movement systems
Be a positive Coach and role model
Be a leader and cultivator of team development and attitude
Preferred Qualifications:Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced and pressured environment, communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients and following verbal and written instructions
Must be able to efficiently solve problems relating to servicing our internal and external customers
Must have excellent computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to the position
Must have very strong spreadsheet skills (Excel).
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Coach fellow team members influencing a positive safety culture and customer support approach
Prior management experience preferred
