2nd Shift, Mon-Fri, 3PM-11PMThe responsibilities of this position are primarily to:
Assemble and test apparatus and / or sub-assemblies, using various test machines, high pressure air, and various hand tools.
Assemble sub-assemblies and component parts using torque wrenches, vises, and various other hand / power tools
Perform tests, troubleshoot, visual inspections, and repair sub-assemblies and component parts as needed.
Completes and maintains relevant paperwork and inputs information in computer system
Package material for shipment
Must meet specific criteria within the Pneumatic Associate Progression requirements at a Level III
Responsible for quality throughout the DFT process
Demonstrate performance behaviors essential to DFT methodology including flex to work, following sequence events, building to signal, and keeping the line wet
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Proven ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures
Proven ability to understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
Ability to perform standard software operations including SAP
Ability to infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance
Ability to lift up to 90 pounds with assistance in a team lift
Actively participate in problem solving & continuous improvement efforts
Proven ability to use power and hand tools
Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments
Ability to work in a team environment and to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to consistently perform work within established operational cycle times
Ability to wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year previous manufacturing or related experience
