1st shift openings at cabinet maker in New Holland, PA! Multiple positions available. Apply now for interview!Shift: 1st - 5:30am - 3pm Mon-Thur, 5:30am - 9:30am FriPay: $15 - $19/hr depending on experienceAssembly:
This position is building and shipping drawer boxes
The position entails, processing the individual components and assembling the boxes
Taking pre cut pieces of wood for each order and putting them together to build a drawer box
Using a glue bottle to glue joints of the box
Putting parts in a clamp to tighten pieces together for drying
Depending on customer specs, may put small brad nails into certain areas or the drawer box for added strength
Take cured drawer boxes out of clamp
High quality is very important, and once trained the candidate must have the ability to be able to keep up with the flow of production
Rough Mill:
Position involves taking incoming wood that was rough cut and lining it up on a conveyor system that will feed it to the mill area
Will involve pulling individual boards from stack of lumber and placing on belt
Could require measuring the board to ensure consistency and the accurate boards are being selected and processed together
Will also pull boards that have been processed off of end of the conveyor line and stack them on a skid
This will involve measuring and sorting the boards based on measurements and quality
