Job DescriptionThe core responsibility of this role is to provide general business leadership and support for the Office of Biostatistics and Research Decision Sciences (BARDS).This role will work to manage several recurring/annual activities and provide overall operational and project management support.Main responsibilities involve project management and operational coordination which may include:
Management and tracking of recurring/annual activities and systems/metrics.
Management, tracking and execution support for strategic initiatives/projects of moderate complexity, including monitoring, guiding, tracking, implementation, communication, and sustainment; involves building and maintaining project schedules and coordination across team members to facilitate collaboration and drive progress.
Partnering with key stakeholders to lead the execution of the Office of BARDS communications strategy including but not limited to stewardship and content management for select SharePoint sites, processes and information; development/drafting of communications from the leadership team, communications related to change management, and focused updates via regular department-wide newsletter.
Management/Support/Coordination for department-wide events
Serving as a liaison of the Office of BARDS by leveraging organizational expertise to interpret and provide inputs to solutioning for emerging issues/needs.
Building and leveraging relationships and networks to improve and enhance the office’s capacity and efficiency; proactively identifying and removing obstacles to drive business results.
Minimum education required:Bachelor's degree required. Degree in business, scientific, technical or related discipline preferred.Required experience and skills:
At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
learn quickly and comprehensively about new subject areas and environments.
handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment.
work collaboratively with others and influence without authority.
Be an independent problem solver who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible.
Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams skills
Experience with or willingness/ability to learn SharePoint.
