Seeking self-motivated, customer-service oriented individuals experienced with leading a team. You will be working with a small group focused mainly on bar service, concession, ticket sales, and event set up/clean up.
-Supervisors must have strong leadership and communication skills. We need a friendly outgoing person who will regularly coordinate with other staff, managers, and renters on a wide variety of events and tasks, making strong communication skills a must.
-Prior hospitality and management experience preferred
Hours: Part time. Mainly evenings and weekends: for concerts, movies, theatre performances, etc.
Duties
Supervise and participate in set-up and preparation of events in the lobby, attic and auditorium
Communicate with Operations Manager about event details
Inform team of event run-times, special requests, and positions within Front of House per each event.
Respond to risk management/emergency situations
Ensure the clean-up and reset of all event spaces
Confirm that all event spaces are closed and lights off before leaving.
Lock the doors to the theatre and set security alarm at the end of each event night
Count and deposit cash drops and merchandise income after events
Looking after clients and artists day of show
Uphold standards of The State Theatre
Has working knowledge in how to run Ovation (our ticketing system)
