- Excellent 8+ years of hands on/ hard core data engineering experience on AWS native, EMR, spark & Scala
- Experience building and optimizing big data data pipelines, architecture and data sets
- Strong analytical skills related to working with large data set, various file formats etc.
- Experience with AWS cloud services : Ec2, EMR, RDS and Redshift
- Ability/experience in code optimization and creating highly efficient data jobs
- Ability to bring in learnings from previous projects/work
- Bring in best practices in data processing, data sharing. Data sharing tech experience is added plus – like snowflake etc.
