This local hospital is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their Data and Analytics team to focus on implementing DevOps principles through agile/lean/continuous delivery methods to operationalize the Data and analytics platform and products they offer! They are searching for that has solid DevOps skills and knowledge with an interest in using Big Data tools such as python programming, Hadoop, and Spark. They are not just looking for another engineer, but someone that wants to make an impact, bring new ideas to the table, and lead the team. This is a full-time position with fully remote capability, with great benefits and work life balance. Required Skills & Experience
- At least one year of experience working with public cloud
- Experience managing data and analytics infrastructure- Hadoop/Spark clusters
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelining using Jenkins
- Experience with one or more of the infrastructure automations tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS experience
- Kubernetes/Docker
- Experience consuming and building APIs
- Building and managing on-prem and cloud data/analytics platforms and products
- Ensuring reliability and service availability
- Work to establish best practices for managing IaC
- Serve as a mentor to all Data and DevOps engineers
