Duration: Contract to hire (contract portion may be up to 3 months)Recruiter: Lourdes Lozada, Y&LConsulting Position Overview:The IT Assistant Director is responsible for leadership and oversight of the Network Operations, Information Security and Technical Support areas within CBH’s IT department. As a member of the IT leadership team, this role requires strategic planning, management of projects and staff, and driving performance to meet departmental goals. - Assist in assuring both internal and external program integrity by being alert to and reporting suspected instances of provider and employee fraud, waste or abuse.
- Assist the Senior Director with guiding the strategic direction of the Information Security, Network Operations and Support teams to provide secure, reliable, scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure and responsive, customer-friendly technical support
- Oversee the daily operations of the Information Security, Network Operations and Support teams, in cooperation with the manager of each team
- Define overall architecture standards and direction for CBH and align cloud architecture and standards with existing enterprise architecture
- Contribute to Information Security projects and activities, including incident response and risk management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Assist in setting goals and metrics to monitor and improve performance and meet Support SLA’s
- Assist in developing documentation, standards, policies and procedures
- Serve as a technical resource to direct and indirect reports
- Manage vendor relationships and purchasing

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field and/or combination of technical school education, training, certifications and experience
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years progressively responsible experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in IT Infrastructure, Information Security and/or Support; experience in healthcare environment preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, write and interpret technical procedures and general business documents
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to exchange information effectively with other staff at varying levels of technical competency
- Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, meet deadlines, and complete projects in a timely manner
