JOB SUMMARY: As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will design, produce and implement software solutions on .NET platform, utilizing Sitecore technology, in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will be part of a SCRUM team working on a service oriented, public facing web site, with e-commerce components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop websites and integrations that support business strategy and requirements, with an emphasis on quality, performance, scalability, security and maintainability.
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology.
- Aid in the design, planning and execution of future systems and decreasing technical debt in current systems.
- Assist as needed in identifying IT standards and policies and ensures that they are followed and enforced.
- Enforcement of coding standards and best practices.
- Follow the process of entering and tracking implementation information including work items and tasks in Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Become the subject matter expert on every aspect of our technology stack.
- Coach new team members as necessary.
- 10+ total years of experience in software design and implementation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Sitecore CMS implementation and development.
- Experienced with Sitecore 8 and above.
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented design and implementation with expert knowledge of OO languages (C#), distributed systems, web services.
- Minimum 8 years of C# and MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Minimum 5 years developing with .NET MVC, JSON, and jQuery/JavaScript
- Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
- Experience using Sitecore personalization features.
- Experience with source control systems like TFS, GIT.
- Experience with front end web technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD Pipeline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of design patterns and how to apply them.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems.
- Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Sitecore Certified Professional Developer
