The User Experience team at this financial institution in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Senior UX Designer to help the team on how best to design their product. You will work be working on a product used by financial advisors. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of UX and best practices. You will ideally have strong knowledge and passion for creating user friendly experiences. Previous experience working in an Agile environment will help drive team success. You will be expected to help mentor junior designers in design software. This job is remote for the time being, but aiming to return to the office once it is safe to do so. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience creating web and mobile applications
- Expert knowledge of UX and interaction design best practices
- Experience generating user feedback and applying changes
- Able to understand complex systems and problems with the ability to see the big picture
- Comfortable presenting your work to other team members
- Comfortable interacting with stakeholders
- Comfortable mentoring members of the team
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Web/Graphic Design or related field
- Experience designing mobile native apps and mobile web apps
- Experience working in the financial industry
- Formal education in user design or user experience
- 100% UX Design
