Position Description: Job Summary:Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining an application within the UPHS health system under the direction of a senior analyst. Responsibilities include testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects. Works with cross functional application teams and UPHS clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application. Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements: Required Education and Experience:• High School Diploma or GED required• Healthcare experience in IT preferred

Required Skills and Abilities:• Good customer service orientation and ability to follow through issues to resolution required• Ability to troubleshoot, research and solve problems required• Detail oriented, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills required• Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to clients required• Knowledge of basic hardware configurations, database management tools and query language preferred

Additional Information: • Experience in a related area (IS, HR Operations, or Health Care Operations) preferred• Experience in information systems (i.e., Lawson, Infor, Kronos, etc) preferred• HRIS experience preferred
