- SQL and Python experience are a MUST.
- Not only understand data but can talk to the data - so end users can better understand their asks having a cable background is nice to have (understanding network topology, customer impacting events, how does a scheduled maintenance affect call line, etc.).
- Looking for data engineering skills.
- Python will be used for automation, API.
- May require coding assessment in Python.
- Initially this was being tracked via tracking customers calling in, truck rolls, etc, but would like to get into more machine data (X1 set top box, modem, etc) to detect customer impacting events prior to customer calling in.
- Will work with many different groups - product teams, divisional teams, big end users. Prioritize their feedback and asks
- Work with technical data expert, supporting in helping to ID taking an ask (able to detect proactive awareness of an event coming off an modem) track value of app - how many truck rolls being scheduled.
- App identifies customer impacting events across the network in real time.
- Bringing that data to cloud environment for a real time view.
