- Ten (10) years of data warehousing experience.
- Five (5) years of experience configuring and implementing data warehousing solutions.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience using Kalido to configure and implement enterprise data
- warehousing solutions.
- Ten (10) years of experience developing data integration solutions.
- Ten (10) years of data modeling experience
- Dynamic Integrated Warehouse (DIW) implementation and architectural review and advisory services to performance tune and make operational source systems within the DIW production instance.
- Initial focus will be on the worst performing feeds within main source systems, with a goal of making the production system operational daily.
- Other source systems and other feeds will be tuned as time allows.
- Knowledge transfer of best practices and techniques to DBHIDS staff is an essential piece of this contract
- Build an enterprise data system that integrates data from all seven components to a single view of our system of care.
- Integrate data from several other City agencies to enhance our understanding of our larger system of care.
- We are seeking an evaluation of our approach to loading data from our landing zone into the data warehouse and integrating data into our DIW instance.
- We would like to focus will be on the worst performing feeds within these source systems. Our goal is to load and integrate data overnight in order making the production system operational daily.
- The operational batch script framework must be reviewed and updated as necessary to the latest Magnitude framework.
- Development and Production environments need to be synchronized, and migration between the environments must be implemented.
- Creating at least five data marts for reporting is our expectation. Finally, knowledge transfer to the staff, so we can maintain our data structure in good order, in required
- Analysis of our current state
- Environment Setup
- Performance Tuning/ Batch File Upgrade
- Datamart Build
- Migration to Production
- Handover, including run books and the like, and Knowledge Transfer
- Written analysis of our current state of landing data and preparing data for integration
- Completion of set up of our environments for development and production
- Data in DIW accurately integrated and loaded nightly into our development environment
- Building a minimum of five data marts to be used by our business intelligence team
- Successfully migrating DIW and data marts to our production environment
- Written documentation, including run books and environment settings
- Knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Data Warehouse teams to maintain and continue work on expanding the enterprise data system
