RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Azure Architect in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities: DevOps Azure Architect will design a highly available and sufficiently componentized Azure systems architecture that can support rapid changes in a high-quality fashion; Ensure business cohesion across system components Define a modern Azure DevOps model that ensures reliability, scalability, repeatability, security, high performance, and quality through automated functional tests, load tests, and pen tests, as well as testability through environment symmetry and immutable deployments DevOps Azure Architects understand and own legacy system problems, identify constraints that block migrating data center systems to Azure, and engineer and/or manage solutions (infrastructure or application level) that enable us to become a cloud-native company Ensure the technology solution can support both us and white-label business models with maximum re-use and/or segmentation in the right areas of the architecture Identify system break points and design/execute horizontal or vertical scaling solutions to grow the our business to 10X scale potential; DevOps Azure Architect lead all performance testing and engineering efforts Build and manage a cost model to ensure the right strategic decisions are made to control costs as the business scales Ensure all build vs. buy decisions and vendor solutions are continuously evaluated for fit against our business strategy, considering rapid technology change and our switching costsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred) Must be a strategic and hands-on Azure DevOps expert with enterprise-class problem solving skills Must be proficient in the following horizontal enterprise technologies (or like representations): Azure DevOps, DataOps, PaaS, and IaaS solutions, IaC techniques, API platforms, .NET Core, DNS and load balancers, networking components, Windows servers, web apps, iOS apps, Android apps, JavaScript, Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL RDBMS server, Microsoft ADX and ADF, and security technologies such as SSL/TLS Expert with emerging DevOps methods and tools, such as agile/scrum, continuous integration, automated configuration management, test driven development, and data center/cloud automation Expert at release management techniques, including approaches to guarantee perfect deployments with minimal downtime Experience with executing large data conversions in a timely and high-quality manner Must have experience with enterprise systems integration patterns in large financial companies, as well as experience in startup environments Some of the following financial technologies: core banking and/or payment systems, record keeping systems, and personal financial management TOGAF EA discipline with a focus on Enterprise IT Systems (App, Data, Technology) a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
