Manager will play a critical role within the Brand Strategy team, responsible for partnering across the business and with agency and media partners to bring Comcast Business to life in the market through a clear, differentiated, & compelling content strategy that can drive execution across touchpoints - including, but not limited to, Brand & Demand Gen Communications, Events / Experiential, Executive Communications, Internal Communications, Earned Media, and Sales Enablement programs. Manager will support the development and execution of Comcast Business' content strategy, delivering a smart, engaging content and thought leadership across the buyer's journey. Manager must be able to work cross-functionally to translate strategy into action to manage and deliver on the annual content plan for all segments. Ideal candidate will have experience in B2B thought leadership and content strategy. We are looking for an articulate, strong writer and editor that can develop content independently and also direct partners (freelance writers, media partners, analyst firms, etc.) to deliver the brand message and vision. This role requires expertise on how technology drives business objectives and will require candidate to translate complex technology into clear communication that connect with our audience of business decision-makers and strongly position the Comcast Business brand. Expertise in areas of telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, and unified communications is a plus. Manager will support Director, B2B Content Strategy to translate business and brand messaging objectives into thought leadership frameworks to guide content development in-house and with agency and media partners. Candidate must also be able to effectively work cross-functionally, partnering with teams across the business to gather insights, objectives, and subject matter expertise to guide content executions. Manager will partner very closely with Product Marketing, business segment leads within Commercial Marketing, and direct marketing team to develop and amplify content that drives brand consideration and credibility within the B2B technology space.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

Manage thought leadership content Plan of Record (POR) across SMB, Upper Market, and Vertical Markets in alignment with Brand POR

Socialize thought leadership content POR across organization, including headquarters marketing, divisional marketing, indirect channel marketing

Partner cross-functionally to distribute content and related assets through IMC process, sales enablement, and other channels to amplify and maximize value of content via internal newsletter, shared documents, thought leadership portal and dedicated meetings.

Track content use across channels and creative activations and gather useful data insights

In partnership with Director, manage agency and media partners in development of high-quality content based on plan of record and thought leadership frameworks

Review, edit, and provide guidance to internal and external content creators based on thought leadership content strategy and brand voice

Manage workflow for publishing content to Comcast Business Community website, overseeing related agency work

Support administration of agency contracts and budgeting

Support development of meaningful thought leadership frameworks and content strategy that bring Comcast Business brand and solutions to life and engage our audience, advance our position, and drive business impact

Understand content needs of various stakeholders in order to influence development of thought leadership content POR

Work with internal team and partners to deliver best-in-class content across a variety of formats (video, articles, blogs, audio, etc.)

In partnership with Director, lead agency and media partners to bring strategy to life

Required skills:

Proven experience in developing and executing on a content strategy to drive business, marketing and audience objectives.

Ability to understand market trends and translate into thought leadership topics and narratives that will engage an audience of business and technology decision makers

Strong collaborative attitude and ability to survey many points-of-view to build consensus

Strong writer and editor with ability to develop bespoke content (research, blogs, white papers, videos, infographics) and also direct partners (freelance writers, media partners, analyst firms, etc.) to express brand position; candidates will be asked to submit writing samples relevant to this role

B2B content marketing or B2B media experience and business technology expertise

Excellent writing and verbal communications skills

Self-reliant, problem-solver, and results-oriented

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritization ability, handle pressure and meet deadlines with a growth mindset

Rigorous budget management skills

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

5-7 years of marketing and/or communications experience
