Location(s): AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation, PhiladelphiaSummary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The selected candidate will need to provide engineering support for components qualification and certification activities for hydraulic system, to meet company's safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

Supporting the on-going integration, verification, validation, qualification and certification activity for mechanical systems, mainly Hydraulic System

Review relevant documentation for compliance to FAA and EASA applicable requirement specifications.

Troubleshooting new installations and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) validations on aircrafts.

Main related tasks are:

A. Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace EngineeringB. Experience

3-4 (Intermediate Level) years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace.

Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities.C. Competencies & Attributes

Good knowledge of aircrafts mechanical systems and installations as well as the standard aeronautical design, qualification, and certification procedures. Hydraulic System is a plusAnalytical skills on mechanical systems. Proven experience to create engineering reports, communicate them efficiently across a diverse, complex, and multicultural organization.General understanding of engineering methodology, tools, and processesCommunication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate to different levels of the organization, ability to negotiate win-win solutions in the presence of conflict and ambiguity, and ability to be a persuasive advocate to internal and external customersFAA Certification processes experiences is a plusDomestic and International travelling for short periods may be required on an occasional basisLanguages:

- English (mandatory)
