- Experience in at least one of the industry leading data integration technologies such as Informatica, Pentaho Data Integration, Ab-initio etc.
- The ETL developer will provide support in all aspects of data movement Strong PL/SQL experience to be able to analyze the data from different source / downstream systems
- Perform data discrepancy / mismatch analysis between different systems, report the difference for the business user review with recommendation on resolving the discrepancy.
- Participate in stakeholder discussions and prepare the clarification list to seek clarifications; Prepare the list of requirements and seek review for approval from the key stakeholders
- Interact with business users and understand data integration requirements, analyze and come up with optimal technology solutions to meet the business requirements
- Conduct system analysis and work estimate for new tasks
- Perform Code development as per finalized technical specification document; Follow coding standards and best practices to check code quality; Obtain approval from stakeholders on the test scenarios validated to proceed with code deployment
- Write high level and low-level design documents, Conduct peer code review
- Collaborate with other internal or external teams on projects such as sourcing data feed and providing external data
- Prioritize incidents based on criticality; Coordinate with the different stakeholders to resolve as per SLA; Run appropriate tests, once the defect is resolved; In case of any recurring incidents, prepare a learning document capturing the known errors;
- Branch off the existing code in the version control tool; Identify configurable items; Maintain version control across different configurable items (documents component, data mapping clarification document etc.
