Jefferson Health in Center City is Now Hiring a RN, Coordinator of Patient Care Services for the Operating Room. Available Shifts- Night Shift
- Day/Night Shift Rotation
- Practices within the established policies and procedures of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Serves as a clinicalresource regarding policy and procedures, patient standards, performance improvement and risk management issues.
- Expresses self orally in individual or group situations in a manner that delivers the message to nursing staff and otherhealth professionals in an accurate and appropriate manner.
- Maintains open communication to health care providers and other supportive departments in order that quality patientcare will be delivered.
- Approaches patient care team interactions with fairness, consistency and objectivity and supportive of a culture thatenhances nursing performance, job satisfaction and patient care team retention
- Assesses patient needs and makes care recommendations based on the patient's physical, psychosocial and culturalneeds, age and functional status.
- Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs and maintain quality patient care. Mayauthorize overtime or scheduling changes to fill shifts as necessary. Completes payroll in collaboration with NurseManager.
- Supports a multidisciplinary model of care delivery via communication in collaboration with other health careprofessionals; including facilitation of bedside and/or plan of care rounds.
- Follows up appropriately and effectively resolves customer and physician issues and complaints.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
- Three (3) years of nursing experience is required
