Jefferson Health is now hiring a

Nurse Manager for the

Jefferson Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Center City - Philadelphia. The Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who manages the financial, human and other resources for the provision of quality patient care for an assigned area over a twenty-four hour period. This Nurse Manager will report directly to the CNO and support one 21 bed unit. Qualified candidates will either have subacute or acute care rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities and Essential functions, include but are not limited to:

Collaborates with the disciplinary team: PT, OT, Speech Therapy, and PhysiciansStaffing and administration of a nursing unit
Promotes and supports the use of evidence based practice.
Supervise the caliber of treatment and care of the patients.
Commitment to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to recruit and retain quality nursing andpatient care personnel influenced by current market trends and environmental factors.

Minimum Requirements:

MSN
Knowledge of Magnet or shared governance
Positions that demonstrate leadership management capabilities required
Minimum 5 years of RN experience in Rehabilitation
Acute or Subacute Care Rehab
BLS
PA RN License (prior to start date)

Conditions of Employment
