- Leads client requirements workshops, translating business requirements into technical requirements, reviewing technical alternatives with pros / cons with client as necessary
- Manages the development of user stories with acceptance criteria
- Leads Story Point estimation of defined user stories with developer participation
- Participates in development of implementation strategy and sprint plans
- Grooms user stories, and reviews / confirms developer understanding of their assigned user stories and acceptance criteria
- Reviews developer implementation approach, and recommends alternatives where necessary to minimize customization and maintenance costs
- Provides clarifications to developer questions, and where required seeks clarification from client stakeholders on requirements questions
- Leads show and tell sessions and user reviews
- Manages functional testing of implemented user stories, ensuring any variances from required acceptance criteria are corrected by the developers
- Ensures technical stories are documented to support release management, data loads and migrations, etc.
- Leads environment migration and testing phases
- Tracks and resolves defects
- Manages hyper care phase
- Monitor system validation / UAT and manage defect fixes to closure
- 5 7 years of experience in a consulting role with a top tier consulting firm, preferably in an HRIS / HCM or enterprise services consulting role
- Functional lead for 1 - 2 or more full implementations of ServiceNow HRSD within the last two years, including case management, portal, service level management, agent workspace, advanced work assignment, predictive intelligence, reporting, and performance analytics; if only one full implementation, it must have been completed within the last 6 months
- HR / HRIS background, and familiarity with common HRIS systems, such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors
- Understanding of HR processes, delivery models, and organizational structures
- Familiarity with key HR legal and regulatory concerns, such as privacy, FMLA, GDPR, etc.
- Consulting background in an enterprise services environment strongly preferred
- Strong communications skills
- Comfortable / capable of communicating with senior (non-IT) executives at the director level and above
- Client management skills
- Strong background with agile methods, and adept at driving requirements definition documented as user stories
- Experience leading agile projects from pre-planning and initiation through UAT, hyper care, and project closure
- Experience working in global projects with resources spanning multiple time zones particularly with development resources in India
- Detailed knowledge of HRSD components, including case management, employee service center / service portal, agent workspace, advanced work assignment, service definition, service catalog, record producers, SLA definition, and knowledge management
- Detailed understanding of all configuration items / options related to HRSD, including HR profile, integrations, COEs, Services, Service Catalog, Agent Workspace, Knowledge Management, workflows, approvals, assignment rules / advanced work assignment queues, User / HR criteria, notifications, SLAs, Employee Service Center / Content Delivery, Reporting, Performance Analytics
- Capable of understanding business requirements from non-IT stakeholders, and translating requirements to ServiceNow solution capabilities
- Certified Implementation Specialist - HRSD strongly preferred
- Well-versed in agile methodology
