At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYour Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Cloud Data services team is responsible for developing and operating the Software as a Service offerings that provide Data Services in IBM Cloud. IBM Cloudant, Databases for PostgreSQL, Databases for Redis, Databases for Elasticsearch, Database for etcd, Databases for MongoDB, Messages for RabbitMQ, and IBM Event Streams make up the family of services that run in multiple IBM Cloud datacenters around the globe. As a rapidly growing set of offerings, we will be bringing new, secure, and compliant data service offerings to market, expanding the breadth of databases that we offer on our platform.We are now looking for enthusiastic Technical Program Managers with foundational knowledge in security and compliance for Cloud and distributed systems environments.Key responsibilities include the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of the IBM Cloud software security and compliance strategy, and translation of compliance control requirements into product security improvements, operational procedures and secure engineering practices.You should be a collaborative, critical thinker with strong problem-solving and project management skills, who can also demonstrate solid leadership experience and the initiative and agility to pivot to the highest priority issue on any given day, whilst still making deliberate progress towards long-term strategic goals.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseProven experience in the development and/or management of ISO, SOC2, HIPAA,and FedRAMP accreditation activities for Cloud-based services

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) SW development & SW development project management

Experience with development/deployment/support of highly available, distributed applications in compliant production environments on Kubernetes

Experience with Git, GitHub, ZenHub

Excellent writing skills and experience in writing and maintaining technical process documentation

Capability to work in a global, multicultural and diverse environment

Fluent English

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience with Python and GH APIs

Technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation

Experience with Linux and Unix technical administration

Experience writing Golang applications

Knowledge of the IBM Cloud ecosystem
