Senior Backup Administrator job vacancy

Our client in Philadelphia is looking for a Backup Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent via contract-to-hire with a very seasoned team. This is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite required. Work alongside experts in the field in a very large enterprise environment. This role also offers extensive PTO time and incredible benefits!

Position Description:

Perform Backups in Rubrik
Storage Administration
VMware Administration (identifying why data storage is full, troubleshooting backups, etc.)
Provide status reports and documentation on work consistently

Required Skills:

3+ years Backup experience (either Rubrik highly preferred, Cohesity, Commvault, Veeam, Veritas, NetBackup, Druva, Zerto, etc.)
Rubrik's experience is highly preferred
3+ years of storage administration
VMware administration (identifying why data storage is full, troubleshooting backups, etc.)
Basic Networking knowledge (routers/switches from a Systems perspective)
Desire to grow a career and proactively think outside the box, looking for issues and solving them
Documentation is extremely important in this role - status reports are essential on this team
