Piper Life Sciences Solutions is actively seeking a senior Scientist to work at a well-established oncology Car-T cell therapy company in the Philadelphia PA area.
Responsibilities for Senior Scientist - Formulation:- Develop, validate and execute stability and pre-formulation testing for drug product development of novel CarT cell therapy products for oncology
- Oversee strategy and development of cell based assays and test methods including ELISA, HPLC, Western Blot, qPCR and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)
- Coordinate efforts of the team as well as interact with clients and management for updates on the progress of the team
- Develop and validate flow cytometry assays for various cell products for oncology cell therapy products
- Lead strategy of stability, formulation and cryopreservation process development and optimization including troubleshooting processes, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiment (DOE)
- Oversee data analysis, ensure proper GMP documentation, and conduct peer review of data.
- PhD or Master's in biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field plus 2-5 years of experience in formulation, stability, cell-based assays and flow cytometry
- Hands on experience with analytical test methods and technologies including ELISA, flow cytometry and qPCR.
- Excellent organizational skills and proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Compensation: $110,000 - 160,000, based on previous salary history and experience
