Sr Technical and Digital Contract Recruiter
  • Client is the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. With operations in 54 countries, Client provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.
  • Client Talent Acquisition, within the Client Human Resources department, is an internal agency servicing the hiring needs of the company.
  • We are seeking an individual with strong expertise to join us as a Senior Technical Recruiter that will be the primary support recruiting for technical positions across multiple lines of business. This role, a blend of tactical execution coupled with human capital strategy, allows the selected applicant exposure to three key areas of talent acquisition:

This role has overall responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment function for assigned roles with an intentional focus on sourcing and attracting diverse talent to client , including:
  • Actively supports our Lead Recruiters and works on a combination of Technical and Digital roles
  • Identifies and screens talent for critical roles supporting our Digital Transformation
  • Network and develop strategic talent pipelines for both current and future openings
  • Think outside the box! Come up with innovative sourcing techniques to attract talent.
  • Research competitive intelligence and have a strong understanding of our competitor's position in the market
  • Ensure information is properly maintained for reporting purposes
  • Effectively partner with key stake holders and managers to develop a customized sourcing strategy to attract top talent.
  • Be a brand ambassador of the Client brand, assisting with hiring events, and special recruiting projects
  • Act as an advocate for internal candidates by filtering, screening and actively engaging talent within the organization

Desired Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in full life cycle IT and Digital recruiting for a large company or Technical Staffing agency
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment required
  • Knowledge of key recruiting and recruiting research craft skills
  • Ability to operate within a matrix, geographically dispersed organization
  • Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Ability to interview and assess appropriate potential hires
  • Good organizational skills
  • Some knowledge of industry and technology trends, compensation and benefits
  • Knowledge of skill sets of various practice areas
  • Ability to effectively work with other people and be collaborative and diplomatic
  • Negotiating skills
  • Proficient in office systems (MS Office Suite, candidate tracking systems)
  • Taleo experience is a plus
