- Develop a knowledge of assistive technology solutions that are applicable with behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disability populations
- Provide technical support for programs when they encounter problems.
- Research new technology and apps that solve challenges or create opportunities
- Potential technology includes but are not limited to:
- Microsoft Shifts application to help program managers with shift scheduling,
- Programmed Alexa routines to assist individuals with their activities of daily living,
- Installing/configuring motion detectors to alert when an individual's safety is at risk.
- Utilize technology to support remote and virtual nurses
- Act as a liaison between the program and the technology vendor.
- Coordinate all aspects of the technology implementation process including the ordering, installation, configuration and go-live for each program.
- 2+ years of tech support experience
- Hands on support experience - ability to interact with clients with special needs
- Experience or willingness to learn tech support of Alexa, fitbit, apple products, household tech items, etc.
- Reliable transportation - will be traveling site to site in tri-state area (NJ, PA, DE)
- Ability to work independently, will coordinate your own schedule and travel
- Experience in MS Office
- Ability to create technical training documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technology problems
- Willingness to investigate and learn about new products and solutions
- Basic understanding of Assistive Technology is a plus.
- Programming (Python) knowledge is a plus.
