The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.Job Summary:Responsible for managing, planning, tracking, and implementing small projects or aspects of larger projects from initiation to completion. Ensures project completion according to timeline, budget, and specifications. Works with vendors and team to establish and achieve goals. Coordinates the activities of a cross-functional team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Communicates project status with direct supervisor.This position resides within the Reliability Engineering Asset Portfolio Management and Intake organization and is responsible for creating and maintaining KPI reports, creating and maintaining the central repository for all project documentation, maintaining the intake and deployment framework, and for overseeing the import of hardware tracking information that is central to understanding the lifecycle phase of our hardware assets.Core Responsibilities:

KPI Reporting

Identifies key metrics to be used in measuring process

Identifies key reports to be used in articulating volume and types of intakes

Identifies and prioritizes development/implementation of reporting requirements

Solicits and consolidates information for weekly and monthly Asset Portfolio Management status

Central Repository

Structures and maintains the central repository for the Asset Portfolio Management Team

Maintains the Asset Portfolio Management process / framework

Considerations for ensuring Technical Specifications are complete

Considerations for ensuring Network Dependencies are captured

Considerations for determining Bandwidth and Latency Requirements

Considerations for determining Required Optics and Sourcing

Hardware Imports

Monitors queue of hardware templates to be imported in to local tracking tool

Imports files from NDC/RDC scanners

Imports “advance ship notification” info from hardware suppliers

Identifies opportunities for automation and process improvements

Manages projects, with direct supervision, to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.

Identifies project scope and objectives. Manages a cross-functional team including third party vendors and other resources; coordinates activities to achieve goals.

Plans and directs schedule and budget.

Maintains communication with stakeholders. Provides status reports to Project Managers, vendors, stakeholders, and resources.

Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Specification:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Technical discipline

PMP desired

PMI Education and/or Certification

Knowledge of project management methodologies

Generally requires 5 years related experience
