A specialized agricultural sciences firm is headquartered in the Philadelphia and looking for a mid-senior UI/UX Designer to join their growing product/UX team. Your product is a native iOS and Android mobile application used by farmers to better their decisions on how to treat their crops and produce higher yields. You will be joining to build out a new feature and help define the design system. The ideal candidate can work with the product team, other UX designers and the engineering team. You will be leading the overall UX design process and shaping the experience for a variety of users/personas. This is a contract role, 40 hours a week and partially remote located in West Philadelphia. You will need to travel into the office 2-3 days a week when it is safe to do so. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, specifically working on mobile applications
- Strong User Interface Design
- Strong understanding of UX process
- Strong portfolio demonstrating prior work experience
- Prior experience running UX research, meeting with users and channel stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Experience working on a mobile application
- Strong AGILE, Scrum experience
- Able to work with remote team members across the world
- Local to Philadelphia area
- Client/Customer-facing- able to communicate effectively

- Able to communicate with a variety of users and stakeholders
- Strong documentation skills
- Bachelors degree or related work experience
- 80% UI and UX Design
- 20% User research
- 20% interfacing with channel partners, internal stakeholders, etc
- 40% collaborating between product, engineering and UX
- 40% execution and delivery
- Competitive Rate: $50-60/hr.
- Contract length: 6 months to start, opportunity for extension
