Deke’s Bar-B-Que is looking for bartender/servers and food runners for our neighborhood bar and restaurant in Germantown. https://dekesbar-b-que.com/
We’re looking for people who embody our core values of good food, good times and the highest level of hospitality in our down-home setting. We have a full bar, including an extensive bourbon list as well as cocktails, draft beers and bottles. Our incredible barbeque—all smoked in-house—has been featured on numerous television and radio stations. In addition to our in-house dining (15-seat bar plus table seating for 100+), we have an extensive takeout business and on-site group catering.
Bartender/Servers: One-year experience in bartending is preferred. Experience serving tables is a plus. In addition to making great drinks and a warm customer connection, must be able to cover a lot of ground and multi-task effectively,
Food Runners: No experience required, but prior food-service experience is a plus. Job entails taking and packing orders, running food, bussing tables and providing barback support. Must be able to multi-task and process orders accurately.
Positions are part-time, 2-3 shifts a week with more possible depending upon the season. Both daytime and evening shifts available. Weekend availability is a must.
