Tank and Libby’s is a high-volume breakfast/lunch restaurant. We have been operating for over 5 years and are very proud to have won various awards and appear at the top of many restaurant review sites. We are in search of very talented lead line cooks to work our high-volume egg or grill station and join our existing skilled and accomplished team.

This full time position is available to a self motivated, professional and reliable chef with a minimum of five years of high volume experience who has the ability to perform and excel in a very busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of all ingredients, cook and assemble all dishes indicated by recipes such as omelets and eggs benedict, as well as various breakfast and lunch sandwiches

- Open and set up your station, work service, break down and clean your station

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the day and comply with our food safety protocol

- Ensure quality and freshness of product by writing daily prep lists and maintaining par levels

Qualifications/skills

- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Culinary Degree is a plus

- 5 years experience, preferably cooking a la carte breakfast and lunch in a restaurant, hotel, or resort with a strong focus on cooking eggs and the different techniques involved

- Understanding of all cooking methods, reading kitchen checks, ability to follow a recipe, and good knife skills

- Ability to perform tasks with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail

- Must be highly organized, self-motivated, a quick thinker, and dedicated to your craft

- Possess the ability to thrive in a very high volume restaurant as well as the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, and lift heavy materials

Work Hours/Benefits

- 5 day (Wednesday-Sunday) 40 hour work week with two days off and overtime if needed; overtime at time and a half

- Shifts range from 5:30am-8:00am start time to a 2:30pm-4:00pm end time, with weekends being our busiest days of the week
