Craft Hall is an experiential dining, drinking and entertainment concept by FCM Hospitality. It is home to Mainstay Independent Brewery, Lost Bread Co. Bakery, a fully furnished kitchen, two bars and several seating areas. We are looking for strong candidates to help fill out our team!
A successful busser/barback aids bartenders and servers in set-up and prep, prompt delivery of food and beverage items, ensures cleanliness throughout the restaurant while being hospitable and cordial to all guests and coworkers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to work on time according to schedule. The schedule could be revised according to business needs.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Perform opening/closing side work as required by area assignment
Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant and bar areas
Interact with all guests warmly and hospitably
Must learn all restaurant sections and table numbers
Deliver food and beverages in a timely matter
Clear and clean tables including wiping down all seats and benches in a sanitary manner
Check floor for foreign objects, clean as needed
Remove all trash to dumpsters
Sweep or mop floor as necessary
Communicating specific customer needs, issues or questions to the appropriate employees
Teamwork: Bussers are part of a team. You will be working with other bussers, servers, bartenders and cooks to make a great dining experience. Being a team player is essential.
Monitor and observe guest experience
Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
Notify MOD with any guest or employee issues
Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a manager
Be ready and willing to assist fellow bussers if needed
Assisting with special events as needed.
Must follow all food and safety HACCP rules and regulations
Attend all scheduled employee meetings
COMPENSATION:
hourly + tips
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Be able to safely lift 40 pounds
Positive interpersonal skills required
Be able to work in a fast paced environment
