- Primary point person for application's instructional design and training needs, partnering closely with application leadership
- Design training materials/content to support application adoption, efficiency of use, and organizational change
- Develop job aids and learning tools based on technical designs, system changes, and functional application specifications
- In-depth application analysis including data collection and workflows/reporting
- Instructional design for both system go-live training and system steady-state/maintenance training.
- Collaborate with IT and operational leadership to drive system integrations
- Adhere to branding
- Turn deliverables into visually compelling and fully integrated training solutions
- Communicate/estimate development/test requirements to forecast delivery timelines and resource needs
- Develop/document procedures for system changes
- Work with vendors to ensure delivery/service for training of application end-users
- Support issues during install, maintenance, and upgrades to application.
- Modify/analyze application content on an ongoing basis
- 3+ years of Instructional Design experience
- 2+ years working experience in healthcare, information systems, or healthcare IT highly preferred
- Epic Certification a must
- Strong technical documentation and presentation skills.
- Experience with EHR implementations and relevant processes.
- Specific knowledge of Epic, HB, PB and/or HIM
