Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Manager, Audit Data Analytics, the Audit Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of data analysis on audit engagements including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
  • Execute data analytics services supporting the Corporate Audit department
  • Identify and recommend tools and software to improve the data analytics program
  • Engage with Corporate Audit management and associates to understand data needs in support of planning and performing audit engagements. Identify opportunities to increase audit efficiency, coverage and scope of data analytics support.
  • Ability to write SQL queries to extract data from various databases (ie. Oracle, SQL server, Sybase, MS access, etc.) and perform data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to identify DA techniques and functionality to test and valid Audit controls and procedures
  • Develops relationships with business management to identify and increase the department's knowledge and access to data
  • Executes continuous audit procedures to monitor high risk control areas.
  • Maintains department dashboards, reports and performance measures.
  • Anticipate, identify and escalate issues impacting project delivery timelines.
  • Contributes to the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of the audit process. Provide input during the audit process for determining scope, objectives, testing procedures, and audit recommendations
  • Provide training and guidance to Corporate Audit staff on data analysis tools and techniques
  • Monitors changes in the environment to identify new risks for the organization
  • Delivers work products meeting department and IIA quality standards
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics Data Analytics, or related discipline.
  • 3+ year of analytics experience including audit experience.
  • Experience with relevant analytical tools is required (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau, ACL, IDEA).
  • Ability to query various data sources including, but no limited to relational databases, flat files and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs).
NOTE: Due to COVID-19 all Associates are presently working remotely. Upon reentry, our office is located at 3805 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, 19073. This role will be transitioning to onsite and you will need to be comfortable with the commute
